Course description

Principles and applications of unmanned aircraft systems technology for surveying, mapping and inspection; flight-line and operational area planning; ground control points; aerial imagery and geospatial data acquisition; aerial photography and photogrammetry; orthomosaic and three-dimensional model generation; cameras, sensors and LiDAR; infrastructure inspection; anomaly detection; data quality and accuracy assessment; and preparation of maps, models and inspection reports.
